Education may be the most important commitment you make for your child; its value extends far beyond the classroom, shaping your son’s or daughter’s experience through a lifetime. The Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School is committed to working with every current and prospective parent to make a GBRSS education possible.
The GBRSS Tuition Assistance Committee makes grants to students once they have been accepted and have enrolled at the school. Awards are given based solely on financial need.
In evaluating a family’s ability to contribute toward their child’s education, a family’s income, assets, expenses and other circumstances, including family size, are taken into account. All tuition assistance information is completely confidential.
On average, roughly 50% of all school families have received assistance that enabled them to attend the Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School. Tuition assistance is available for nursery through eighth grade. A sliding tuition scale is also available for Early Childhood and Fourth Grade programs and most often will eliminate the need to request additional assistance.
We welcome you to call the Admissions Coordinator (413)528-4015 x106 at the GBRSS office or email admissions@rudolfsteinerschool.org if you have questions.
The Great Barrington Rudolf Steiner School is an independent coeducational school accredited by the Association of Independent Schools of New England, and is a member of AWSNA. We welcome students without regard to race, creed or national origin.
